Special Report 2020 02 21: Arrest of shoplifters at Village Mall:

At around 15:00 this afternoon, two alert car guards at Village Mall Hartbeespoort, spotted alleged suspects carrying large bags in phase one parking area.

Security was immediately alerted whereby two male suspects and female suspect was apprehended in possession of suspected stolen clothing.

The clothing was later identified as being stolen from Truworths and MrPrice Village Mall as well as clothing stolen from shopping centres in Pretoria.

Well done to the car guards at Village Mall. Excellent work.

3) Shoplifting supermarket Village Mall. Suspect arrested after stealing body creams.
4) Theft of motor vehicle Jan Smuts ave Meerhof. Isuzu bakkie stolen.
5) Theft out of motor vehicle Ten Rooms. Liquor looted from back of bakkie during protest action. Charge of Public Violence to be added.

1) Theft out of motor vehicle Mountain Lake centre. Laptop stolen.

Sector Three:
1) Malicious Damage R512 De Rust. Windscreen of VW Polo damaged by stone throwers.

2) Fraud Malan St Schoemansville. Cash unlawfully withdrawn from account.

1) Possession of presumed stolen goods pub plot Broederstroom. Two suspects arrested whom found in possession of presumed stolen goods.
2) Theft General plot Broederstroom. Floodlights stolen. Case linked to no. (1)
3) Theft General lodge Broederstroom. Sheets, toilet paper and other items stolen whereby female suspect arrested and believed to be linked to no (1).
4) Contravention of Protection Order estate Broederstroom. Husband allegedly contravened conditions of protection order.

3) Fraud Syferfontein. Cash fraudulently withdrawn from victim’s account.
4) Burglary Residential Strydom St Schoemansville. Tv, cellphone and harddrive stolen.

5) Illegal Sale of Liquor Sunway. Two shebeen owners arrested.
6) Attempted Burglary Plot Rietfontein. Window broken, nothing stolen.
7) Attempted Murder / kidnapping Beethoven Road Syferfontein. Victim alleges he was forcefully taken by his employer and two workers to a plot and beaten up after he was accused of stealing batteries. Police arrested three suspects.
8) Theft General Devalera St Schoemansville. Alarm and sensors stolen.
9) Theft of motor vehicle restaurant Marais St Schoemansville. Silver Renault stolen.
10) Burglary Residential Malan St Schoemansville. Tv, tools, duvets, meat and clothing stolen.
11) Drunken Driving Damdoryn. Two suspects arrested.
12) Assault GBH Aquatic Club Ifafi. Resident allegedly beaten up by camper.
13) Drowning resort vd Hoff Road. Seven year old child drowned in swimming pool.
14) Theft out of motor vehicle Karel St Schoemansville. Wallet, laptop and camera stolen.
15) Theft from Motor Vehicle church Marais St Schoemansville. Sparewheel stolen from Ford Ranger.

Sector Two:
1) Public Indecency Broederstroom. Suspect arrested for urinating in public.
2) Drinking in public Broederstroom. Five suspects arrested.
3) Attempted Murder tavern Broederstroom. Suspect with handgun fired two shots at occupants of Renault Clio. After struggle the suspect fled but one victim hospitalised with gunshot wound in stomach.

Sector Three:
1) Reckless and Negligent Driving Skeerpoort Road. Toyota Corolla and Steed bakkie collided whereby both drivers seriously injured.

1) Burglary Business cnr Scott and Hertzog St Schoemansville. Laptop stolen.
2) Illegal Possession of platinum Jean Botha Ave Meerhof. Suspect arrested.
3) Shoplifting supermarket Village Mall. Suspect arrested for attempting to steal 12 packets of cheese.
4) Fraud Schoemansville. Complainant paid large sum of money for Ford Ranger advertised on internet only to discover it was a scam.

Sector Two:
1) Malicious Damage golf course estate Broederstroom. Poison allegedly put on grass of one of the greens.
2) Fraud Broederstroom. Invoices allegedly manipulated betwwen buyer and seller.

Sector One:
1) Possession of presumed stolen property Sediba Plaza. Suspect arrested after his Toyota Quantum was found to have a stolen engine from a taxi previously hijacked in Atteridgeville.
2) Theft General Sunway. Corrugated iron stolen.
3) Theft General Telkom exchange Ifafi. Batteries stolen.
4) Attempted Common robbery Ennis Thabong gravel road Rietfontein. Suspect attempted to rob young cyclist whereby he pulled victim off his bicycle and grabbed his cellphone. Victim fought back and took back his cellphone and fled the scene.
5) Theft General Geweerloop St. Ifafi. Gate motor stolen.
6) House Robbery Danie St Scoemansville. Two suspects with balaclavas held victim at gunpoint before fleeing with tv and jewelry. Victim uninjured.

SectorTwo:
1) Theft out of motor vehicle Islands shopping centre. Laptop, cellphone and power bar stolen.

3) Public Violence Sunway. Protesters blocked main road with tree branches and rocks.
4) Theft of motor vehicle Ifafi Centre Ifafi. White Ford Laser Stolen.
5) Burglary Residential Cassien St Schoemansville. Blue mountain bike stolen.
6) Theft from motor vehicle car wash Sunway. Mercedes badge stolen off vehicle.

1) Malicious Damage Karel St Schoemansville. Electric fence cut.
2) Theft from motor vehicle Village Mall. Sparewheel stolen from Isuzu bakkie.
3) Theft of motor vehicle Village Mall. Orange Ford Ranger stolen but later recovered by tracking company in Pretoria.
4) House Robbery Karel St Schoemansville. Two robbers held couple at gunpoint wearing balaclavas and gloves. A struggle ensued between male victim and one suspect prior to both suspects fleeing the scene. Laptop and wallet with cash stolen.

Sector Two:
1) Possession of presumed stolen vehicle near Peacanwood. Acting on info Hartbeespoort Police chased suspect blue Toyota from Damdoryn and caught them near Peacanwood. Two suspected highjackers arrested on the scene.

Sector Three:
1) Assault GBH Orange Farm. Victim assaulted with fists and a spade whereby suspect subsequently arrested.
2) Burglary Residential Bultfontein. Welding machines, grinders and drills stolen out of storeroom.
