1) Theft of motor vehicle resort Damdoryn. Mercedes Benz stolen.
2) Assault GBH tavern Sunway. Victim beaten up by unknown suspects.
3) Theft of motor vehicle Village Mall. GWM bakkie stolen.
4) Fraud Damdoryn. Victim alleges he paid cash to poultry farm but never received eggs ordered.
5) Dealing in Drugs Beethoven Road and Ouwapad. Three suspects arrested.

Sector Two.
1) Robbery with Firearm Plot Broederstroom. Victim approached by five armed suspects whom demanded cash. He was robbed of his cellphone and personal items.

1.4. House Robbery Rietfontein. Couple held at gunpoint by two suspects and robbed of cash. Male victim also hit over head with firearm.
1.5. Theft from motor vehicle Kuyper St Schoemansville. Spare wheel and mags stolen.
1.6. Reckless and Negligent Driving near Tan Mallie. Ford Ranger and Opel Corsa collided.
1.7. Burglary Residential Cassien St Schoemansville. Household appliances and tools stolen.
1.8. Drunken Driving Damdoryn. Four suspects arrested.

2.2. Malicious Damage Kalkheuwel East. Vehicle window broken.
2.3. Burglary Business resort Broederstroom. Bush cutters, blower tool, quadbike and cable stolen.
2.4. Theft General Broederstroom. Solar panels and batteries stolen.
2.5. Assault GBH Sangiro compound. Victim hit over the head with beer bottle.
2.6. Theft General Leeuwenkloof. Goods stolen out of store.
2.7. Theft of Motor Vehicle animal park Lanseria Road. Nissan NP200 stolen but later recovered with suspect in Gauteng.
2.8. Malicious Damage Leeuwenkloof. Gate broken and window smashed.

1) Theft of Motor Vehicle cnr Monene and Harrington St Schoemansville. Silver Toyota Etios stolen.
2) Theft General clothing store Sediba Plaza. Cash stolen.
3) Usage of Dagga in public Sediba Plaza. Suspect arrested.
4) Assault GBH Sunway. Victim beaten up by unknown suspect.
5) Theft General Sediba Plaza atm. Complainant alleges he was shoved in the back where after his bank card was snatched. Five minutes later cash was unlawfully withdrawn from his account.

Sector Two.
1)Burglary Residential Welgegund. Household goods stolen.
2) Fraud restaurant Broederstroom. Suspect allegedly could not pay for meals consumed but later produced a fraudulent payment slip.

9) Assault GBH Sunway. Victim stabbed by unknown suspect.
10) Malicious Damage Malan St Schoemansville. Ice cream seller in Kombi claims suspect threw a stone and damaged his vehicle’s window.

Sector Two.
1) Theft General Pelindaba Road Broederstroom. Cable stolen.
2) Theft General Farm Broederstroom. Suspect caught stealing nuts.
3) Attempted Murder R512 Broederstroom. Victim shot in right shoulder and stomach by unknown assailant.
4) Malicious Damage Welgegund. Family member allegedly damaged household articles and his mother’s vehicle.
5) Theft General Hartbeeshoek Road. Window frame and pole stolen.
6) Burglary Business Broederstroom. Several items stolen from business
7) Malicious Damage estate Broederstroom. Victim claims her vehicle’s tyres were deflated, door handles removed and roof damaged.

1) Theft from motor vehicle restaurant Skeerpoort. Parts stolen.
2) Burglary Business Bultfontein. Goods stolen out of storage area.
3) Theft out of motor vehicle Islands mall complex. Laptop stolen.

Crime Prevention Operation 27/28 March 2022

Special Report on Crime Prevention Operation conducted on the evening of 27/28 March 2021.

Approximately sixty persons including Hartbeespoortdam SAPS members, neighbourhood watch members from Schoemansville, Ifafi/ Melodie, Meerhof as well as security companies participated in a massive crime prevetion operation from 23hours 27 March to 4.00 am on 28th March 2021.
The operation was led by Col. W. Robertse and was mainly concentrated in the town area in order to achieve maximum visible policing and to deter criminals. A special operation by a Police unit was also conducted on Rietfontein and Syferfontein plots.
We thank Col. Robertse for this very good initiative as well as all members who participated by sacrificing their personal time.
Overall the operation was highly successful sending a clear message to criminals. Minimal or no crime was experienced during the excercise.
It is indeed heartwarming to know that so many community members as well as Police take our safety and security seriously.
Well done to all participants.

7) Fraud estate Melodie plots. Victim paid for puppy advertised on internet but never received it.
8) Theft General Rietfontein. Cash and tyres stolen allegedly by employee.
9) Burglary Residential Scott St Schoemansville. Household goods stolen.
10) Burglary Residential estate Ifafi. Houshold goods stolen.

1) Possession of Dagga Matshelapata. Suspect arrested.
2) Attempted Murder Lanseria Road. Victim alleges employer fired several shots at him.
3)Theft of Motor Vehicle Leeuwenkloof. Vehicle stolen overnight. ( Vehicle make not specified. )
